Position Overview:
The Leadership Development Program Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing leadership development programs that enhance the capabilities of frontline leaders and corporate managers. This role will partner with business leaders and HR teams to assess leadership needs, develop impactful learning experiences, and ensure continuous improvement of leadership programs. The specialist will play a critical role in shaping leadership effectiveness across multiple levels, driving organizational performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.



 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Development Program Design & Delivery

Collaborate with corporate partners and HR teams to assess, design, develop, and deliver leadership learning experiences tailored to various leadership levels.Design, implement, and facilitate in-person and virtual leadership training programs that align with organizational goals and leadership competencies.Execute leadership development strategies and frameworks that support business objectives and employee growth.Guide stakeholders through the learning program design process, ensuring alignment with business needs and leadership expectations.Oversee the full lifecycle of leadership programs, from planning, launch and facilitation to evaluation and continuous improvement.Maintain a network of high-quality external training vendors and ensure strategic, cost-effective budget use.

Coaching & Talent Development

Provide coaching to leaders on assessment results, development planning, and leadership competencies.Develop programs to build and enhance management capabilities throughout the workforce.Identify and implement best practices in leadership development to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Use feedback, surveys, and key performance metrics to assess the impact of leadership programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.Support and monitor the organization’s leadership development plan, ensuring alignment with business priorities and talent development needs.Research and remain current on leadership development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Leverage technology systems that support leadership programs, including learning management platforms and assessment tools.

Operational & Strategic Program Management

Manage and coordinate programs, ensuring high-quality execution and participant engagement.Plan, manage, and complete leadership development projects while ensuring stakeholder engagement.Partner with HR and business leaders to drive adoption of leadership programs, talent development initiatives, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience designing and implementing leadership development programs, tools, and processes.Experience facilitating training or delivering presentations to various audience levels.Strong ability to coach leaders on development planning and leadership skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for maximum impact.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Client-centric mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Digital fluency and aptitude for leveraging data analytics to measure training effectiveness.Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or related HR functions.A certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Leadership Coaching, or Adult Learning is an asset.
