We come from all around the world yet share the following qualities (that we hope you share, too!): + Compassion that is rooted in a love of people + Ambition to make a difference in the lives of others + Desire to be a part of a mission-driven team About the Internship Positions (2 available) Job Title: LeadingAge Summer Enrichment Program Intern Position Description: The Goodwin Living partnership with the LeadingAge Summer Enrichment Program is a 10-week full-time immersive internship hosted by LeadingAge member organizations between June 2025 and August 2025. The program offers undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to obtain real-world experience in aging services with exposure to a variety of disciplines including: clinical, social work, wellness, culinary, hospitality, facilities, administration, marketing, and more. The Summer Enrichment Program internship will provide interns with mentorship and exposure to these meaningful career paths as well as expand their connections in aging services. Healthcare Administration 1) Goodwin Living at Home - Goodwin Living At Home is a continuing care at home program in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC that empowers active, healthy adults ages 55 and better, who want security along with the choice to stay in their homes. Members have access to customized plans to help coordinating care and services needed while aging in place. 2) The View Alexandria - The View Alexandria offers independent, assisted and long-term care residential living options with a variety of amenities and services for residents 55 and better. This position will include a stipend, resident mentor, 2-3 professional development workshops and opportunities to meet and learn from our leadership team. Job Requirements + Bachelors degree in a related field required, candidate in Masters program preferred + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Experience the Windows suite (Outlook, Teams, etc) + Attention to detail and a can-do attitude + An interest to learn more about senior living and healthcare organizations In your application, please indicate which internship project area you are applying for and why you think you would be a good fit for that project!
