The Role

We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team in a dynamic and growing company in our Goldfield Operations in WA.  

This position is Full-time position FIFO from Perth. The position is a 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off roster.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to assist the Site Manager in ensuring our projects meet client expectations and SRG Global's high standards. This role involves leading the team, ensuring safe and efficient work, and helping to enhance project performance to maintain SRG's market advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support and supervision to the Drill & Blast Team Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the drill rigs to ensure maximum output Working closely with Site Leadership to ensure the project meets client expectations and SRG Global standards.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

5 years of experience drilling on blast hole rigs. Supervisory or Leading Hand experience Surface blast hole drill experience including Sandvik DPI, Sandvik Leopard, and Epiroc D65 Grade Control experience would be favourable. Hold a current driver’s licence – HR (desirable) Schedule 26 – Statutory Supervisor Training (desirable) Mechanical aptitude but would be favourable. Previous Experience with shot crew favourable Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
