18 years of Age Able to Pass a Drug Test Legally Eligible to Work in the US Additional Requirements for Craftworkers: Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every workday (driver's license not required) Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools) May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Primary Function: Provide onsite management, scheduling, coordination, and communication with clients, sub contractors and vendors, and serves as the primary link between the field and office. Lead craft workers and helpers to construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, and concrete, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, also must conform to local building codes. Lead by example.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated. Select specified type of lumber or other materials. Prepare layout, using rule, and framing square. Supervise cutting and assembly lines on materials, using pencil, chalk, and marking gage. Shape materials to prescribed measurements, using saws, chisels, and planes. Assemble cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue. Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete. Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden forms, according to specifications, for molding concrete structures. Study blueprints and diagrams to determine type and dimension of forms to be constructed. Saw lumber to blueprint dimensions, using handsaw or power saw, and nails lumber together to make form panels. Inspect the erection of built-in-place forms or assembles and installs prefabricated forms on construction site according to blueprint specifications, using hand tools, plumb, rule and level. Insert spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain specified dimensions. Anchors and braces forms to fixed objects, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, and timbers.

 Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Work within precise standards of accuracy. Rate information using standards which can be measured or checked. Compare and see differences in the size, shape, and forms of lines, figures, and objects. Look at flat drawings or pictures and understand how they look as solid objects. Follow oral and written directions, plans, and blueprints. Must be safety minded and able to lead the crew in a safe and productive manner.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands. Must be able to see and hear well (either naturally or corrected). Must be able to lift, pull, push objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Reach for, manipulate and feel objects, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or high structures.

Direct Supervisor: Reports directly to Foreman
