Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $71-135/hour DOELocation: Houston, TX
Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours +
Assignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance including medical, vision and dental, and 401k Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining Client assets mainly using Liquid Management Suite (LMS) application residing within DNA 7.5 SCADA system. Work in a team with highly skilled group of engineersDesign, configuration and execution of pipeline models using LMS application and other Leak Detection Program (LDP) initiativesProvides support to pipeline control and maintain the existing modelsMonitoring alarm rates on LMS applications and help investigate elevated alarm rates (“Bad Actor” false alarms)Migrate pipeline configurations and tune before moving to production using Enterprise 2024 SCADA systemHelp prepare controller trainingsWrite-up of new documents and changes to existing internal configuration manual, standards, procedures, guidelines, and other official documents Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering is requiredWorking knowledge of fluid properties and hydraulic theory5+ years of experience in the energy business working with pipeline simulation is requiredMidstream oil and gas experience preferredExcellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of managementAbility to work in a team or individuallyRequired to analyze problems, and develop effective solutionsAbility to handle multiple ongoing assignmentsProficiency with the following is preferred: AVEVA – Liquid Management Suite (LMS), Atmos International – Atmos Pipe and Atmos Rupture, Microsoft – Excel, Outlook, and Word, Google – Earth, Familiarity with the following will be a benefit:  Microsoft - Visual Basic for Applications (VBA),      SQL Database, Microsoft - SharePoint, Microsoft - Access or any other relational databaseTravel required is 10% or less
