Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lean Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. The Lean Engineer will be responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity through the application of Lean principles and methodologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lean Strategy Development:Develop and implement Lean strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.Collaborate with leadership to define and align Lean objectives with business goals.Process Improvement:Identify and analyze areas for improvement using value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other Lean tools.Develop and execute action plans to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.Training and Facilitation:Train and coach team members on Lean principles, tools, and techniques.Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and continuous improvement activities.Performance Monitoring:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Lean initiatives.Monitor progress and report on the impact of improvement efforts.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other departments to ensure smooth implementation of Lean initiatives.Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement across the organization.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement role.Strong understanding of Lean principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis).Proven experience in leading and facilitating cross-functional improvement projects.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred.Strong leadership and project management skills.Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions.Adaptability and willingness to challenge the status quo.Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
