Job Description SummaryJoin Our Team as a Lean Leader in Florence, SC!

Are you passionate about lean transformation and ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a Lean Leader to join us onsite at our Florence, SC location. In this role, you'll be recognized as a developing lean expert, influencing at the manager level on exciting lean transformation projects and setting standards for your area of responsibility. You'll partner with area leaders to develop operational improvement plans quarterly, driving our site vision and objectives forward.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support multiple value streams as a recognized expert and resource leader, delivering significant simplification results.Provide overall Lean leadership and coaching; partner with site leadership to develop lean strategy and priorities; own lean framework reporting to Lean COE.Train and teach all employees the culture of continuous improvement.Initiate sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations using lean strategies.Develop schedules and facilitate kaizen, value stream mapping sessions, and activities to achieve business results.Drive consistent Lean Transformation standards and model the GE Lean Operating System.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience in a manufacturing environment, or a high school diploma/GED with 7 years of work experience.Demonstrated experience in LEAN and participation in Kaizen events and 5S's.Proven experience in influencing and leading teams to drive change.Strong coaching, negotiation, and listening skills. A change agent with influencing skills.Proficiency in reporting and the use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, or similar tools.
