Here at Boeing Global Services (BGS) in San Antonio, TX we are excited to announce that we are looking to add a LEAN Practitioner -Level 3 to our team. The successful candidate will be the key in driving the site to world class operational excellence maturity. The candidate will work collaboratively with operational, functional, and business support teams to implement Lean Boeing Production System (Lean BPS)  on site. 20% strategic / 80% tactical.

Position Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the LEAN way of working throughout the site

Drive the fulfillment of site strategic priorities & facilitate improvement events

Drive Kaizen actions to closure

Provide team training and coaching

Work with Managers/ Plane Chiefs/ Team leads

Share best practices

Educator for tactical lean teams

Drive 5S maturity levels

Drive the Lean Maturity level program within your Platform

Drive process and organizational change through influence

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. San Antonio, TX

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience implementing lean principles

3+ years of experience in implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques

3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

LEAN Green Belt certification (Proven and successful lean implementation experience in place of certification is acceptable and, in some cases, more desirable)

Advanced level understanding of LEAN principles, unlocking process flow, and creating customer value

Experience utilizing standard change management principles

Proven and successful lean production system implementation

Lean experience in an MRO environment

Lean Manufacturing experience in an automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment industries

Comfortable unlocking potential and coaching to operations team members and front-line leaders

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related

work experience, etc.).

Shift :

This position is for 1st shift and capable of traveling up to 25% of your time
