This is a critical role, helping coordinate across the division on product development continuous improvement programs, coordinating Defect Free (DF) quality efforts, and leading strategic projects. We encourage you to apply! **Specifically, you can expect to:** + Defect Free Design Process Owner: Aligning on prioritization, capacity planning, consistent execution, and sharing best practices for product development continuous improvement opportunities across EMD. + Defect Free Operating System (DFOS) Process Owner: Define and deliver standard work for DFOS while ensuring consistent execution across EMD, including monitoring and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. + Quality Project Coordination: Execution and governance of Defect Free improvement projects in support of the EMD DF Playbook. Support alignment on annual quality metrics and targets across EMD DF workstreams. + EMD Chief Engineer & STLF Facilitation: Coordinate EMD Chief Engineers and drive cross product group collaboration and alignment on critical topics impacting Earthmoving, CI, and the STLF. This includes planning topics, contacting presenters, making sure the material is ready and ensures the group stays on task and focused. + Process Management Tool (PMT) Management: Utilization and documentation of processes within PMT, with current reviews completed. A clear process owner to ensure utilization and adherence is valuable. **What You Have (Basic Qualifications):** + **Degree Requirement:** bachelor’s degree in engineering. + **Influencing:** Strong influencing skills, capable of driving change and garnering support from stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Thorough understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing processes, enabling effective influence for complex projects. + **Managing Multiple Projects:** Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadline and deliver results.
