Job Title: Learning and Development ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Manager to design and implement a comprehensive training, learning, and development strategy aligned with our company goals. The ideal candidate will analyze company needs and create customized learning programs to address skill gaps and career progression.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and deliver effective learning programs, workshops, and courses, including e-learning, on-the-job training, new hire onboarding, and blended learning solutions.
+ Ensure training materials are engaging, up-to-date, and relevant to employees' roles and responsibilities.
+ Apply the latest learning technologies and resources, including AI-based training and gamification.
+ Conduct regular needs assessments through surveys, management collaboration, and performance evaluations to identify current and future learning needs.
+ Support managers in developing individual learning plans for employees as part of performance reviews and talent management processes.
+ Assist with utilizing outside resources to implement leadership development initiatives, coaching, and succession planning.
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data.
+ Oversee the implementation and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools to support training.
+ Stay abreast of new training technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve training methods.
Essential Skills
+ ISO 9001 compliance
+ Training development
+ Experience in training and development
+ Proficiency in designing and implementing learning strategies
+ Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 5 years of training and development experience
+ Experience in biotech or medical device industries
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Startup experience preferred
+ ISO 9000 or other regulated experience
Work Environment
This role is based in an office environment and requires on-site presence. The position offers autonomy and the potential for eventual global oversight. The work environment is very startup-like, focusing on building and developing training modules. Travel to Ohio and New Jersey may be required.
