Learning and Organizational Development Consultant
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) to work in the Nuclear Science and Technology (NS&T) directorate to transform professional development and champion organizational growth. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Engineering and Research Office Building (EROB) onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. You will report to the NS&T Sr. Learning and Organizational Development Consultant. The Laboratory is looking for someone who will achieve results through human-centered approaches. You will contribute meaningfully to human capital resource planning, management and staff development, staff recognition though research and development awards, L&OD interventions and related change management, coaching and strategic meeting facilitation. *Responsibilities Include:* * Complete organizational assessments (i.e., focus groups, individual interviews, surveys) to determine opportunities and needs of the NS&T directorate. * Develop and implement effective employee development solutions. * Identify staff development and organizational goals, connecting them to available opportunities. * Administer and debrief workplace personality assessments such as Hogan’s HPI, and HDS. * Facilitate effective team building. * Manage the NS&T awards committee and processes to ensure staff are recognized for their contributions. * Provide coaching to staff at all levels; and must skillfully work with and advise senior enterprise management and leaders. * Handle discussions with employees constructively and be a trusted advisor. * Consult lead and management on organizational design ideas and recommendations. * Facilitate and build multi­disciplinary, integrated teams. * Work with management and technical personnel at all levels. *Minimum Requirements: * * Level 2: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development or a related field and 2 years related experience or a Master's and 0 years of experience. * Level 3: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development plus 5 years related experience OR Advanced (Master's) degree and 2 years related experience. * Related experience: Experience in employee and organization development and facilitation in an organization (preferably a research and development organization). * Background in Employee Development Projects for those in technical fields. * Experience designing, implementing Employee Engagement and Succession Planning Projects. *Job Information: * * The pay range for this position is: Level 2 ($63,528 - $130,284) / Level 3 ($75,804 - $155,496).
