Job Description The Learning Innovation Manager is charged with redefining Globe’s learning experience and learning technology ecosystem. The role involves shaping best-in-class learner experiences for live, virtual live, and on-demand learning using design thinking principles, best practices of neuroscience, and digital technologies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Transformation and Innovation in Corporate Learning
Develop a digital learning strategy and shape the Digital Transformation of Gobe L&D by bringing cutting-edge learning technologies and approaches, breaking down problems and solutioning using innovative and creative methods and communicating the solutions to stakeholders. (e.g. smart AI nudges & recommendations, personalization, adaptive learning, digital credentials, assessment, Virtual Reality, simulation, interactive live session design and other modern approaches)
Network and interact with Globe University Learning Partners to pick up early on needs, local innovation and grassroots initiatives, evaluating their potential for upscaling and wider rollout.
Partner with non-L&D teams and the Employee Experience Team to identify the intersection between work and learning and design a strategy that supports learning in the flow of work
Collaborate with L&D CoE counterparts and IT teams to make learning tech enablement roadmaps actionable with clear milestones
Showcase ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and deliver results on-spec and on time
Provide strong, creative digital learning solutions to complex learner problems
Provide advisory support to the L&D CoE in modernizing and digitizing learning programs at Globe
Investigate and evaluate emerging technologies to ascertain their suitability for investment and/or implementation at Globe
Perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and interpret rules and guidelines to enhance business value through L&D propositions while keeping with Globe’s values and culture
Research, Neuroscience and User Experience methods
Research Neuroscience studies to understand how people learn and how to reduce cognitive overload for learner employees and make recommendations to the L&D CoE on how to apply principles of neuroscience to make learning engaging and sticky
Partner with digital agencies in rapid prototyping and developing Proof-of-Concepts to drive implementation of key innovations and get the buy-in from stakeholders and users
Research the market and identify learning trends that are relevant to Globe in providing best-in-class learning experience
Bring a learner-centric view and outside-in approach to create learner journeys and experiences which are intuitive and seamless across all channels including digital, online, mobile and live learning.
