The Learning Consultant reports to the Senior Learning Partner and is an integral part of the Talent, Leadership & Learning Team (CoE). Our globally integrated team operates within a matrix organisation spanning five regions, our other global functions, and over 30 countries to deliver integrated talent and learning initiatives that empower and inspire our members.
The primary focus of this role will be the application of globally prioritized leadership learning locally, using engagement intelligence for timely local interventions and embedding great learning to improve leadership capability. This role involves building learning communities, consulting with stakeholders, experimenting with innovative methodologies, and contributing to global projects to enhance leadership practices across the firm. Learning consultants take pride in the privilege of seeing people grow, develop and create enabling environments for those working with them. They will be driven by seeing tangible progress, shifts in individuals and teams and seeing the impact that great learning can have on a business.
**The Opportunity**
+ 80% of this role will be focused on enabling the application of globally prioritised learning, delivering timely interventions locally, appropriate to where members are in their leadership learning process. Working on the ground with individuals and teams, consultants will focus on
+ Seeking out hotspots locally to bring a laser focus on leadership capability, working with leaders to create the environment for successful learning application.
+ Building facilitated communities of learners to keep conversations alive, continue to share learning and the impact and to anticipate future needs
+ Advising with key clients locally to diagnose needs within the business and deliver through strong relationships with members of the Partnering community.
+ Uncover the work on the ground and be tenacious in deploying engaging learning interventions to support the global agenda.
+ Experiment with innovative learning theory and practice, to pioneer effective methodologies and share to the betterment of fellow consultants.
+ 20% of this role will be focused bringing expertise to other global projects within the Learning & Development group – actively contributing to broad, collaborative projects to ensure the quality and scale of leadership learning across the firm.

**Is this role right for you?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Learning and Development or related field; Advanced degree a plus.
+ 6 or more years of experience in HR, learning, organizational development or related role
+ HR or Learning professional qualification preferred
+ Experience in delivering extraordinary leadership learning experiences with individuals, teams and groups. Laser focused on creating experiences that close the knowing-doing’ gap.
+ Able to handle stakeholders and multiple conflicting priorities - balancing immediate needs with longer-term business goals.
+ An approach that is relational, consultative and authentic, seeking always to understand before being understood. A curiosity about the organisation, sensing and meaning making.
+ A global mindset to work openly, design once, iterate and evolve and share work with pride with colleague
+ Role modeling continuous development, investing in personal and professional development to benefit your own practice and that of fellow learning colleagues
+ Self-sufficiency in tech learning methodologies and desire to innovate with learning methodology
+ Takes a coaching approach to their practice to enable transformation in others
+ Established history of encouraging collaboration to meet objectives and acknowledged for delivering work to exceptional standards
+ Able to present information and support decision-making through effective data analysis, presentation, and storytelling.
+ Personal integrity with commitment and alignment to Arup values and aims.
+ Displays curiosity, adaptability, and courage.

**New York Hiring Range** – The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is **$106,000 to $120,000** per year. **This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level.** Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
