Learning Content Designer, Ops Tech Solutions

Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) Learning Solutions team is looking for a Learning Content Designer to join our team. The post holder will work closely with various SMEs, global stakeholders, managers and other members of the LS team to build technical and non-technical training content (e-learning modules, reference materials and other learning assets) for the learning and talent programs and initiatives within OTS. In this role, the ideal candidate will apply knowledge of learning science, design, and instructional technologies to create and improve learning environments at scale. The role will continuously improve learning programs to drive content relevancy, utilization, innovation, and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities - Partner with business stakeholders to understand program goals and create technical training content that engages our learners. - Instructional design to develop e-learning modules, reference materials, and other creative and learning assets. - Employ project management skills and tools to manage multiple training projects from analysis through delivery concurrently. - Write and edit technical content according to style guidelines and standards. - Manage content tracking through Learning Management Systems (LMS). - Subject Matter Expert (SME) on content creation and delivery tools (e.g., Articulate 360 suite, Canva, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond and LMS/LXP/LRS systems). - Design and maintain team wiki. - Ability to travel as needed (10-20%). - Position based in Nashville, TN Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of working experience in Instructional Design. - Working experience in Articulate Storyline and Canva. - Experience in creating technical training content and ability to write clear and detailed content. - Experience in deploying learning content in Learning Management Systems. - 3+ years of program or project management experience. - Ability to collaborate with SMEs, global stakeholders, and managers. - Experience in wiki design and maintenance. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner. Preferred Qualifications - Instructional Design certification or eLearning development training and/or certification. - Design and develop technical eLearning and instructional materials that scale to support localization and content is easily managed. - Develop templates and enforce style guides to ensure consistency across all materials. - Ability to deliver on time-bound projects with multiple priorities. - Proficiency in adult learning instructional design methods and best practices, as well as producing learning solutions in a variety of modalities. - Familiarity with SCORM files & xAPI, setting up LMS portals and managing enrollment.
