Indigo Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine are redefining the healthcare experience with a focus on innovation, hospitality, and efficiency. As part of the Retail Health Training Team, the Learning Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting training initiatives that empower our clinical and operational teams. 

Reporting to the Retail Health Training Manager, this position provides exceptional administrative and logistical support for training programs across Indigo Urgent Care’s in-clinic, virtual, and occupational medicine services. The Learning Coordinator helps ensure a seamless onboarding experience, organizes training materials, and coordinates events to foster continuous learning and professional growth within the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

Training & Onboarding Support Prepare, distribute, and manage training materials for new hire onboarding, skills development days, and ongoing employee education Maintain accurate training records, learning management system (LMS) updates, and compliance tracking Event Coordination & Logistics Organize and schedule training sessions, including securing venues, setting up technology, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees Collaborate with trainers and facilitators to provide logistical support before, during, and after training events Administrative Excellence Manage training calendars, enrollments, and communications to ensure employees receive timely and accurate information Handle training-related inquiries, assist with reporting, and support special projects related to learning and development Technology & Innovation Assist in maintaining and optimizing digital learning tools, such as LMS platforms, e-learning modules, and virtual training environments Identify opportunities to improve training delivery through technology and process enhancements 

Qualifications 

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a training, education, or HR-related environment Experience in healthcare, retail, or hospitality is a plus Skills & Attributes Extreme attention to detail—you are meticulous in handling logistics, schedules, and documentation Hospitality mindset—you create a welcoming and engaging training experience for employees Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 

Position Summary

The Learning Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer relations representing Education Services to internal and external customers. The incumbent coordinates and supports multiple internal and external educational offerings and services; delivers or facilitates selected training/education courses; prepares educational material, markets educational offerings and makes recommendations on services to internal and external customers.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $26.04 - $37.47 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
