Learning Design Specialist
Our Client, a Mass Media And Entertainment company, is looking for a Learning Design Specialist for their Knoxville, TN/ Atlanta, GA/ Hybrid location. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop creative and engaging learning content that aligns with organizational goals and objectives such as videos, one-pagers, presentations, courses, and toolkits on a variety of platforms e.g. Articulate Rise, Canva, Shootsta, etc. + Create supporting documents and marketing content to promote learning programs and increase engagement among employees, e.g. program overviews, email banners, FAQ guides, one-pagers, visuals for events, podcasts, videos, etc. + Create templates using visual design principles to ensure content is appealing and aligns with brand guidelines. + Adapt learning models and materials in a simplified and comprehensible way for external faculty. + Work on a variety of PowerPoint documents such as strategy documents and proposals for the wider learning team. + Source licensed images and appropriate IP for learning programs. + Create visual reports for post program data. + Work with a variety of LMS and learning platforms to upload, test, and maintain SCORM files, courses and offerings; problem solve, test, and resolve issues with LMS to suit stakeholders needs. + Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design, marketing, and LMS technology. + Strong analytical and interpersonal skills to work with various teams and stakeholders and troubleshoot issues related to content delivery and needs. + Team culture/work environment: Fully global Learning and Development team stretching all across the world, this position will work through time zones and providing resources to teams. + There are business partners that support functions and regions with specific learning and global content creation. + This person would support all of that. + Run leadership development programs: resource would take the external coaches content and adapt that to match branding guidelines and taking creative view + Platform for mentoring programs called Together: need documents and materials created and a brand created for the mentoring programs that run after that, whether it be global or local programs. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Marketing, or a related field. + Proven experience in instructional and graphic design, and multimedia tools with the ability to design visually appealing learning materials that are engaging and convey information effectively. + Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technologies. + Proficiency in writing and editing educational and marketing content. + Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models. + Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating templates and presentations + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. + Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and needs. + Extremely flexible, dynamic work-space and there is a lot of room for creativity and autonomy to deliver. We are a high production team that allows for a lot of creative work, along with administrative side of learning and development.
