Learning Designer
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Learning Designer in Mooresville, North Carolina, 28117, United States. This role is primarily focused on the management of human resources activities, particularly in the design and delivery of learning programs. The Learning Designer will play a crucial role in developing strategies and policies to meet business needs. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain learning and development programs for all employees • Conduct needs analysis to identify areas for improvement and design appropriate training programs • Develop and manage the onboarding program and new employee orientation process • Work closely with the human resources team to handle talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee relations • Ensure employees have the necessary skills and behaviors to perform their jobs effectively and safely • Design and deliver supportive content for training programs • Utilize tools such as Canva and Storyline to create engaging learning materials • Manage the company's worker's compensation and benefit functions • Play an active role in planning and administering HR functions • Oversee the quality assurance management of learning programs. Requirements • Proven experience in Training and Planning • Familiarity with HR Administration and Payroll • Proficiency in Design, particularly with tools like Canva and Storyline • Experience in Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition • Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Onboarding processes • Ability to administer New Employee Orientation • Understanding of Worker's Compensation laws and regulations • Experience in QA Management • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
