Job Description & Summary

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.

Grade: Associate 

Contracted Hours per Week: 37.5/hours for role

Job Summary: 

This role is part of the Learning & Development (L&D) team, providing efficient and effective support in understanding and delivering the learning and development needs of PwC Channel Islands staff, as well as providing data analysis to track and report on key metrics for the team. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities include: 

Working as part of the L&D team to proactively manage the learning and training calendar  Tracking and reporting on training based on the key data the L&D team is responsible for and measured on Supporting the end-to-end event management of face-to-face & virtual / blended learning and training experiences  Interacting with the relevant Learning Management System (LMS) and setting-up Channel Islands-created eLearns and curriculums

Skills & Experience Required: 

Essential skills: 

Clear written and verbal communication skills  

Ability to demonstrate effective calendar management  

Ability to be adaptable, agile and understand the various requirements of stakeholders  Experience of or an interest in working with data for reporting and analysis  

Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting demands  

A professional and resourceful approach and an ability to build rapport with other team members  

An eagerness to study for a relevant professional qualification in the future 

 

Desirable skills: 

Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority  

Experience of using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and be able to identify areas for continuous improvement  

Experience of event management and the ability to work with different stakeholders to deliver events  

An understanding of learning and development assessment & evaluation methods  

Experience of working with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau  

Experience working within M365, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

 

Travel Requirements: 

As part of a Channel Islands team, this role may require some travel between the islands and may occasionally require further travel.
