What You'll Do
The Global Learning & Development (L&D) GLP Co-Op will collaborate with our team to gather requirements, specify, design, develop, and deliver solutions that enable our Specialty and Expert L&D partners and Global L&D stakeholders to support learning and development effectively and efficiently. You will work in an array of systems and leverage various tools, particularly PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, ChatGPT and Tableau.
Projects from the team’s areas of focus are aligned to the student’s learning goals, skills and interest and will comprise much of the role. Projects may include the following, coordinate and host team and internal speaker meetings, review, analyze and synthesize feedback on current L&D offers, conduct interviews with internal business partners on a variety of L&D related tools & resources to ascertain satisfaction with accessibility, and functionality. Drive planning and development of solutions. Working with senior L&D managers during internal client meetings, documenting and driving problem resolution. Maintain internal SharePoint site and leverage AI tools to enhance both project and learning outcomes.

Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and ExcelSpeaking and writing in English, in PowerPoint, email and in live and virtual meetingsAbility to synthesize and analyze both abstract and concrete information and dataGetting things done, even when the path forward is ambiguousClass or work experience in education, learning & development, communications, project management preferredPrior work, internship or co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plusMust have legal work authorization in the U.S.BCG is currently allowing hybrid work situations (3 days in office minimum) in the U.S. however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present full-time in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe.Who You'll Work With
The Global Learner Portfolio team (GLP) delivers L&D support to our specialist and expert client-facing consulting teams. We are members of BCG's Global Learning & Development organization. We partner with L&D teams in multiple specialty and expert business teams. Our primary partnerships also include Global L&D Operations, Platform & Analytics, and Learner Experience & Communications.
The GLP team is located in the US, Europe and India. You will work with closely with our 2 Boston-based Senior Managers as well as with our Senior Director in London and our Senior Manager and Consulting Tracks Manager in New Delhi.
The team has four areas of focus: 1) integrate new Specialty and Expert consulting teams into our Core Curriculum, 2) ensure our core content and learning assets meet the development needs of S/E participants by facilitating the creation and curation of learning assets 3) produce reporting and analytics on training uptake and the learner experience and 4) develop and maintain centralized repository for L&D operational reference guides, Global L&D resources materials, and dossiers of our Specialist and Expert business teams.
