Working as part of our MLS Team,\r\nleading an L&D team on delivering excellent customer service. The MLS\r\nLearning and Development Manager will work with Sopra Steria Aerospace Defence Security\r\ndelivery teams to facilitate and provide a managed learning service on behalf\r\nof MLS for ADS. The role will be required to provide a holistic training\r\napproach and will include liaising with ADS workforce planners, client\r\ndirectors, ADS CoE Leads and external training suppliers.
The L&D Manager will play a\r\nkey role in centralising training pathways, streamlining training processes and\r\nproviding MI reporting to key stakeholders.

Stakeholder management will be crucial in leading the expansion to promote an\r\nestablished service, driving through benefits and value add in ultimately\r\nenhancing training journeys for ADS staff.

The role will be UK mobile with a view to being accessible to team meetings\r\nacross our sites.

What you will be doing:

Lead and develop the MLS\r\n admin team, to be known for their innovative, accessible, outcome and\r\n customer focused blended learning and development solutions who contribute\r\n to the overall success of the wider ADS account teams.Design and deliver L&D\r\n delivery strategy in partnership with key customers.
Ensure full utilisation of\r\n key L&D tools and systems to ensure training/development days are\r\n increased.Measure and report to all\r\n levels of management and group the roadmap and utilisation of training and\r\n development.Make sure key roadmap to\r\n support L&D programmes is documented and delivered against.Drive engagement and a\r\n customer service programme through ADS in line with the MLS Services\r\n model.Produce and maintain\r\n training plans which highlight on cost efficiencies.Analyse data regarding\r\n training and skills data, providing recommendations for improvementTake responsibility for\r\n targeted internal communications regarding L&D materials and\r\n Operational support.Work alongside Internal\r\n teams to understand strategies for upcoming requirements and support.Be a proactive member of the\r\n MLS team, contributing to team initiatives and projects and providing\r\n support to peers.

What you’ll bring:

A CIPD or L&D\r\n qualificationExposure to the Defence\r\n industryExperience working in a HR\r\n or L&D functionPrevious experience\r\n designing and delivering an L&D delivery strategyExperience delivering\r\n effective outcomes supported by key metrics
