The Position

Global Learning & Development Solutions (GL&DS)

As an GL&DS Expert /Partner you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and management of global P&OG solutions. The GL&DS Experts/Partners will be accountable for managing the product life cycle of existing solutions and for successful implementation of new solutions.   

The role will require broad collaboration with other Areas of Practice, Communities of Expertise, Chapters, External Vendors, Business Partners and the Business. Specifically the role will require close partnering with colleagues in PSS to ensure operational aspects of solution management are delivering on Service Level Agreements. 

Implementation of new solutions will require the experts/partners to work with multiple regional stakeholders to foster engagement and adoption of solutions. 

GL&DS Partners have experience in managing complex solutions, advanced negotiation, adept facilitation skills and senior stakeholder management . The more senior of the GL&DS Partners will need to be able to work with stakeholders up to CEC level and be involved in organizational wide implementation. Additionally they have a team development responsibility to coach and mentor less experienced members.       

Key Responsibilities (Expert)

Manage and report on solution measurement and budget tracking for solutions within your responsibility 

Tender Management, Selection and management of  vendors 

Provide guidance and coaching to counterparts in the PSS chapter

Consulting on product/solution life cycle to strategic owners

Regional facilitation of solution related workshops e.g VACC, Kinesis Intact Sessions

Developing and deploying implementation strategies

Contribute in global Work Product Teams in other Areas of Practice e.g Design & Curation        

Key Responsibilities (Partner):

Owning regional/global solutions and ensuring that they deliver on their design principles and purpose 

Consulting on product/solution life cycle to strategic owners

Developing and deploying regional/global implementation strategies

Manage and report on key solution metrics and budget tracking for solutions under your responsibility 

Tender Management, RFPs & Selection and management of  vendors 

Provide guidance and coaching to counterparts in the PSS chapter

Regional facilitation of solution related workshops e.g VACC workshop, Kinesis Intact Sessions

Fostering capability building within the Area of Practice

Contribute in global Work Product Teams in other Areas of Practice e.g Design & Curation         

 

Core capabilities and experiences: 

•Demonstrated experience in managing diverse learning solutions at multiple organizational levels (including programs, tools, and processes).

•Successfully navigating complex, multicultural and highly matrix environments.

•Influencing and negotiating with strategic partners. 

•Need identification and contracting with customers

•Sound Project Management capabilities and experience 

•Growth mindset (incl. taking risks and experimenting, seeking new learning opportunities, asking and giving feedback)

• P&OG subject matter knowledge in Leadership Development, People Development, Organizational Development and Diversity and Inclusion 

 Further Requirements and Information:

 • Prior experience in Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or similar field 

• Proficiency in Japanese&English is essential.
