What this job involves:  

The Learning & Development project manager manages various aspects of L&D projects within the organization. The position involves coordinating course bookings, promoting, and facilitating learning events, supporting professional qualifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver programs.  

The coordinator will maintain relationships with external providers, monitor initiatives, analyse training effectiveness, and propose improvements. Responsibilities include managing learning platforms, providing system guidance, and developing L&D communications. The role requires staying current with industry trends and best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, ideally with experience in L&D coordination and program management. 

 

What your day-to-day will look like:  

Serve as the primary contact for L&D queries, development inquiries, and course bookings 

Coordinate virtual and face-to-face course bookings, including attendance tracking, feedback collection, and communication of event details 

Proactively engage with the target audience to promote L&D programs 

Monitor and address learning requests, resolving issues or assigning to appropriate subject matter experts 

Assist in managing various L&D programs, including leadership development initiatives 

Facilitate learning events, both virtual and face-to-face, as required 

Provide expert guidance for UK&I employees pursuing professional qualifications through apprenticeship levy and JLL sponsorship programs 

Offer support to line managers and liaise with external training providers 

Develop and disseminate communications about learning events and programs to employees and key stakeholders 

Monitors learning L&D programs and proactively engages with the population. 

Collaborate with business lines & senior stakeholders to provide L&D admin support to project teams responsible for the successful delivery of learning and development programs, for example Sustainability or DEI ensuring timelines and budgets are met. 

Build and maintain relationships with external training providers and subject matter experts to enhance the learning experience. 

Process purchase orders for external training 

Cultivate and maintain relationships with external training providers and subject matter experts 

Monitor learning requests (either from our L&D Needs forms or Service Now) and work on resolutions or assign to SMEs as required 

Develop comprehensive project plans with clear actions, tasks, responsibilities, and timelines 

Monitor and report on L&D initiatives' progress to key stakeholders 

Ensure timely delivery of learning programs within allocated budgets 

Produce and maintain a variety of reports using appropriate tools, presenting data in an accessible format 

Regularly assess and report on training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement and evaluate ROI 

Propose improvements to training offerings based on data-driven insights and industry developments 

Maintains and updates learning offering on the learning technology platforms (e.g., SharePoint, MyLearning and ServiceNow) 

Serve as a subject matter expert for learning professionals, providing resources and training on system utilization 

Collaborate with HR to enhance user knowledge through established procedures, guidelines, and documentation 

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development and provide suggestions of improving our training offerings. 

Develops and or assists in communications to employees and other critical stakeholders like HR on learning events, programming, etc. 

Provide SME support for UK&I employees pursuing professional qualifications through the apprenticeship levy & JLL sponsorship. Providing line manager support and building relationships with external training providers. 

Facilitate Learning & Development training both virtual & face to face as & when required. 

 

 

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 

Experience in learning and development or similar environment, preferably in the commercial real estate industry. 

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. 

Proficient in the use of learning management systems (LMS) 

 

Required Skills and Experience:  

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. 

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners and /or key stakeholders 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. 

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
