About the Opportunity:

Life Fitness/Hammer Strength is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing internal training for customer-facing teams, utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver impactful education programs. You will design, implement, and manage training programs to enhance individual and team performance.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days #LI-Hybrid.

What you’ll do to be successful:

Training Needs Analysis:Conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement across various teams and departments.Collaborate with managers and team leaders to understand training needs and align them with business objectives.Program Design & Development:Create customized learning solutions, including e-learning, workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training.Develop instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive learning modules.Integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies (e.g., blended learning, microlearning).Facilitation and Delivery:Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.Deliver technical, soft skills, compliance, leadership, and team development training to diverse employee groups.Evaluation & Feedback:Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for improvements in training programs and delivery methods.Track and report on employee progress and development milestones.Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:Manage the organization's LMS, ensuring training materials are updated and accessible.Track employee participation, completion rates, and certifications.Continuous Improvement:Stay current with L&D trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously enhance training offerings.Conduct post-training evaluations and use feedback to refine and enhance future training initiatives.Support Employee Development:Guide employees on their personal development journeys, offering advice on career progression and skills enhancement.Provide coaching or mentoring support as required, particularly for leadership and high-potential employees.Collaboration & Field InsightsStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales leaders and product teams to identify training needs, set KPIs, and design training sessions that align with business goals and measure impact from a sales effectiveness standpoint.Field Engagement: Engage with sales reps and managers in the field to understand real-world challenges, allowing for tailored training solutions that meet practical needs.

What are we looking for in you:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.4+ Years in L&D, Sales Enablement, or Training: Proven experience in training design, curriculum development, and program impact evaluation.Sales Process Experience: Familiarity with sales processes, ideally with prior experience carrying a quota.Sales Learning Methodologies: Strong understanding of selling methodologies with a track record of designing programs that achieve measurable outcomes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at building effective relationships across teams, particularly with product, sales, and L&D functions.Analytical & KPI-Driven: Proficiency in setting KPIs and using data to assess and improve the impact of training on sales performance.Certifications: L&D or Training certification is preferred. e.g., CLS Certified Learning Strategist, CPTM Certified professional and learning management.Platforms: Familiarity with LMS systems or E-Learning platforms.Additional Technical Skills: MS Office Suite.
