Learning Experience Designer

As a learning experience designerwithin the Center for Talent Development, you’ll develop competency-based development offerings, programs, courses and experiences that elevate leadership capabilities across Progressive. In this role, you’ll partner with business leaders to create instructional material that addresses their specific needs and aligns with broader organizational goals. You’ll oversee the entire design process, from initial needs assessment to final delivery working closely with Leadership Development Consultants, Learning Media Designers, Process Specialists and external vendors throughout. Your work will be integral in shaping the leadership capabilities across the organization, fostering growth and development at every level.

This is a remote position. This position will require travel to our corporate headquarters in Mayfield Heights, OH, approximately four times a year, for team meetings, training, and observing/supporting learning events.

Must-have qualifications

High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years instructional design/development, teaching/training delivery, web design experience or responsibilities that involve performance improvement initiatives{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years instructional design/development, teaching/training delivery, web design experience or responsibilities that involve performance improvement initiatives

Preferred skills

Demonstrated experience in leading and creating complex leadership and competency-based design initiativesExperience working with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Articulate eLearning Suite Experience working in a collaborative environment with SMEs and other team members with strong ability to influence, negotiate and consult with requests and stakeholdersAbility to work independently while managing multiple medium to large projects

Compensation

$77,100 - $102,800 /year
Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
