The Learning Experience Designer at Cleveland Clinic will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying engaging learning experiences that support leadership and organizational development goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), Learning Partners, and Organizational Design Consultants to create high-quality, effective learning solutions. These solutions will range from instructor-led training to technology-enabled learning, ensuring that they meet the needs of diverse learners and align with strategic business objectives. The role involves full-cycle instructional design, from needs assessments to the refinement of content based on learner feedback, all while maintaining Cleveland Clinic's commitment to excellence, quality and to be life-long learners.

Instructional Design & Content Synthesis
Can design and develop both formal and informal learning experiences using methods such as instructor-led training, e-learning, and blended learning. Experience in synthesizing complex content and presenting it in an engaging, learner-friendly manner is critical.
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, create detailed project plans, and meet deadlines. This includes working across different organizational levels and departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

E-learning & Technology Integration
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools such as Articulate and Captivate to create engaging, asynchronous learning modules. The ability to integrate technology into the learning experience to enhance engagement and effectiveness is essential.
Day in the Life of This Caregiver:
A typical day for the Learning Experience Designer involves a blend of individual work and collaborative efforts. The role is a mix of design and development, with key activities including:
Collaboration with SMEs to gather and refine content, ensuring it aligns with learning objectives and business goals.
Designing instructional materials such as PowerPoints, facilitator guides, and participant materials, ensuring that content is accessible and engaging.
Conducting needs assessments to tailor learning experiences to the specific needs of the learners and the organization.
Managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and buy-in across different teams, including those focused on leadership, safety, quality, and other departments.
Iterating and refining materials based on feedback from both SMEs and learners to ensure the content is impactful.
Occasional on-site collaboration (one day per week) at Cleveland Clinic's Beachwood location, though most of the role is hybrid and flexible.
Through these activities, the Learning Experience Designer contributes to the organization's leadership development and ensures that all learning experiences are meaningful, aligned with strategic goals, and help foster a culture of continuous learning at Cleveland Clinic.
