Learning Experience DesignerPurpose of the role
As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in exploring, testing, and incorporating pedagogical best practices and advancements in learning technology with your efforts focused on continuous innovation of the customer learning experience for Travel Distribution customers. You will join a dynamic, globally dispersed team and collaborate closely with colleagues from Customer Learning Services and you will have the opportunity to engage with various departments across Customer Operations to ensure collaborative success.
In this role you'll:
Identify and support improvement opportunities to continuously innovate the Customer Learning & Knowledge Experience through exploration, testing, and incorporating pedagogical best practices and learning tech advances.
Contribute to project teams monitoring the application of Learning Innovation and Framework processes in a dynamic environment, monitoring and completing tasks within established project timelines/benchmarks to ensure project completion.
Map, formalize, and follow-up on simple processes associated with an objective or activity. Recommending and measuring key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness.
About the ideal candidate:
Undergraduate degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field required or equivalent work experience.
1+ years work experience in Learning Experience Design/Instructional Design/Adult Learning Theory.
Instructional Design program skills required. Preference for Articulate and Flare.
Experience administering Learning Management Systems required. Content Management systems a plus.
Experience with Learning and Knowledge AI tools and technologies highly regarded.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, Power platform highly regarded.
Working knowledge of graphics editing tools (i.e., Figma, Adobe Photoshop, TechSmith SnagIt).
Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript highly regarded.
Experience in following processes and problem-solving.
Experience following up on processes associated with particular objectives or activities.
Travel Industry experience with Amadeus GDS skills highly regarded.
General understanding of the Amadeus business.
Customer-focused and service-oriented professional.
Able to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Able to analyze data linked to possible alternative solutions whilst anticipating consequences and dependencies in complex scenarios.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and updates in the technology-enabled learning environment.
Extensive knowledge of Instructional Systems Design and Adult Learning Theory.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Able to write clear and well-structured process and project documentation.
Able to leverage personal knowledge and experience to contribute to internal/external projects.
