Learning Experience Manager

**Position Summary**
The Learning Experience Manager leads a team that designs, delivers, and evaluates impactful learning programs to enhance employee skills and performance across the organization. Working closely with leaders and subject matter experts, this role ensures learning needs are identified, training solutions are developed, and a range of learning formats, from virtual sessions to self-directed modules are developed. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Learning Experience Manager ensures that all training aligns with company goals and adapts to evolving needs. Strong project management, people management, instructional design expertise, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
**Essential Position Functions**
+ Hire, evaluate and develop a high-performing Learning and Development team.
+ Manage the team to ensure new practices and programs are designed, implemented, utilized, supported and studied.
+ Mentor and support staff, promoting best practices in training that drive individual, team, and organizational performance while promoting an action-oriented, customer-focused culture.
+ Plan and manage department budgets, report budget status to the VP of Operations.
+ Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of appropriate change management efforts in conjunction with changing organizational goals, philosophy, needs, and objectives.
+ Review and guide the team in developing training materials, training sessions, lesson plans, mentorship, and other development related to the organization's clinical needs.
+ Present and facilitate monthly team meetings and discussions to cultivate a productive and positive team culture.
+ Assess, design, develop, implement and manage organization-wide training programs aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
+ Develop and manage detailed project plans using project management software, defining scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
+ Partner with leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess learning needs, prioritize programs, and identify strategic opportunities to improve performance.
+ Examine current performance development programs and make recommendations for improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals and evolving industry standards and trends.
+ Establish, monitor, and report to VP of Operations on key performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
+ Conduct debriefs to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations to improve future projects.
+ Write professional and comprehensive business communications for a variety of audiences and diverse populations. Read, interpret and write documents such as standard operating procedures, technological project plans and process manuals.
+ Manage and ensure adherence to PACE certification standards for Continuing Education (CE) courses and oversee the PACE renewal process.
**Education and Experience**
+ Masters degree in Learning Theory or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Learning Theory Business Management, or a related field is required. Additionally, five years’ experience in management including managing staff and overseeing needs assessments, content development, delivery of training and program evaluation is required.
Expected annual salary range for this position depending on experience:
$100,000—$123,000 USD
**Compensation**
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Eligible employees will accrue a minimum of 120 PTO hours per employment year in addition to seven paid holidays annually. The Company’s PTO program combines vacation and sick leave, which is more generous than Washington State’s Sick Leave Law.
**Physical Requirements**
The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing, but will require occasional walking, bending, stooping and carrying light items such as papers, books, or other supplies. The incumbent uses a computer and other standard office equipment to complete tasks.
