The Learning Experience Specialist (Facilitator) key role is to tell the story of “Why Marvin” and provide learning around our products and systems. Responsibilities include facilitation of training for customers, leaders, and fellow Marvin employees including role plays, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and delivering live classroom and virtual classroom training. This position will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment on cross functional projects that drive measurable and sustained business impact.
Highlights of your role Delivers learning solutions across a variety of topics and subject matter areas (Marvin product, sales, systems, soft skills, customer service)Assists in the development of content, such as facilitator guides, reference guides, and PowerPoints to support facilitated learning.Identifies the needs and goals of various audiences, including geographic location, level of experience, focus areas, etc. and adapts the learning experience to audience’s needs and goals.Identify learning objectives and make the connection between the objectives and goals of the learners and their business line. Sets and tracks timelines, milestones, and due dates and remains agile when priorities shift.Understands business strategy and how learning enables business success. Acts as guide and facilitator for various Marvin programs.Creates a space that supports a positive and meaningful learning experience, including connecting to learners, listening, asking questions to better understand perspectives, soliciting responses, guiding discussions, etc.Establishes credibility with the audience by knowing the content area, providing relevant examples, and linking the material to the audience’s job experiences and challenges. Sets audience expectations and manages the classroom setting, including limiting disruptions, refraining from computers/phones, actively participating and staying on topic, etc. Dynamically shows and tells the story - “Why Marvin” and discusses Marvin’s unique products and services.Presents information in a clear, logical, and organized way; knows which points to emphasize to increase learning.Actively seeks evidence of audience engagement and comprehension, tailoring the training to meet differing needs, interests, and experience levels among participants while pivoting to improve the experience when needed.Establishes and implements metrics and benchmarks to assess the effectiveness of training and provide insight to management (satisfaction, retention, behavior, and business results). Gathers and captures feedback and key learnings from sessions facilitated in a timely manner and form ideas on how to improve based on results.Provides feedback on content and solutions based on interactions with learners.Consults with partners to identify learning outcomes and solutions. Collaborates with other learning facilitators.Identifies ways to foster collaborative learning environments and grow the organization’s learning presence.Fosters positive interdepartmental relationships while supporting their needs for education, delivery, and knowledge.Stays current on learning and development trends to increase effectiveness of programs and retention of knowledge, including performing independent research, attending trainings, and be proactive around integrating concepts. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Ability to travel 30-40% of the time within the United StatesExperience in various systems, including Salesforce preferredExpert in learning facilitation across all modalities and creating an interactive learning experienceAbility to learn quickly and retain information on a continual basisSuperior relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and partner well with others in order to build strong and trusting relationshipsProven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is “noise” to the audienceStrong classroom management experience, including professionally handling various disruptions, interruptions, etc.Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills; must display a balanced, objective approach and sound judgment when recommending a course of actionAbility to work independently and with a sense of urgencyDemonstrated effective problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong influencing skills when recommending and implementing solutions with business partnersUnderstanding of adult learningStrong presentation and communication skills; ability to facilitate and present to groups of varying sizes and skill levelExperience with development tools, such as Articulate 360, Vyond, and Adobe is an asset Also want to make sure you have Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar roleRelated professional certification or designation is an asset We invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
