Summary of Job Duties:The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator provides administrative and configuration functions for the design and operation of systems utilized by the clinical employees at UAMS. The LMS Administrator partners with the education department, nursing leadership, and content owners across the clinical enterprise to maintain a consistent philosophy for online delivery and tracking. Provides training to stakeholders to ensure successful navigation of the system and other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Education.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of relevant professional healthcare experience
Special knowledge, abilities and skills:
Proficiency with online learning.
Pursues innovative approaches for providing solutions
Works effectively in an independent and collaborative setting
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent content development, presentation, and facilitation skills; verbal and written communication skills.
Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate with others effectively.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology

Responsibilities:
Provides administrative and configuration functions for design and operation of the learning systems utilized by clinical employees and develops online training to support patient care staff learning needs.
Responsible for updating and maintaining the online employee orientation and ongoing education.
Carries out defined application administrative processes.
Collaborates with team members and stakeholders in evaluating options for configuration.
Assists with investigating and correcting problems and is the UAMS liaison with the IT division and third-party entities.
Coordinates communication between UAMS support staff and IT, or third-party entities for identification and resolution of problems, scheduling of planned shortages, and execution of other processes, assessment, and planning.
Develops, reviews and maintains technical support resources and training for end users.
Works independently and collaboratively on projects of medium complexity impacting multiple areas and functions.
Recommends training solutions as a proactive solution for responding to stakeholder inquiries.
Develops customized online training to support enterprise learning needs that bring the greatest value.
