**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25009034 **Job Category** Human Resources **Location** Mexico Regional Office, Ejercito Nacional No. 350 Suite 4C, Mexico City, MÉX, Mexico, 11560VIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=Mexico%20Regional%20Office%2C%20Ejercito%20Nacional%20No.%20350%20Suite%204C%2C%20Mexico%20City%2C%20M%C3%89X%2C%20Mexico%2C%2011560) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** Y **Position Type** Management **Job Summary** Responsible for planning, organizing and delivering various classroom and virtual training programs with a special focus on core Leadership Programs such as En Route’s Embark and Envision. **Position-Specific Expected Job Contributions** + Delivers training to ensure transfer of knowledge according to program learning objectives + Delivers a variety of learning programs to small and large audiences, classroom and/or virtual + Thoroughly prepares for each learning event and demonstrates a mastery of content knowledge + Effectively co-facilitates with a training partner through prior contracting and ongoing coaching and feedback, as needed + Creates an environment that enables maximum learning by employing adult learning principles + Demonstrates knowledge of the uniqueness of each audience, including adjusting delivery to the various learning styles represented, as well as for any special needs that could affect the learning + Conducts self in a manner reflective of Marriott professionalism and decorum before, during and after the learning event + Demonstrates overall control of the learning environment, including effectively leading the learning activities, giving directions, utilizing the experiential learning cycle, addressing classroom behavioral issues, etc. as appropriate + Demonstrates mastery of training technology and best practice facilitation methods to maintain quality standards for all mediums of training delivery + Effectively solicits, responds and adapts to learner feedback + Participates in the scheduling, administration, marketing, production, execution, post-production and evaluation of learning events, as needed + Maintains content and process integrity of each program, suggesting changes and enhancements as appropriate + Ensures the classroom (physical and/or virtual) meets standards and creates a positive learning environment + Demonstrates and takes action as an ambassador to the Company and brand, as appropriate + Follows through on commitments made to participants + Reviews course evaluations and create plans for improvement + Works with the CALA Learning team to provide feedback and suggestions on logistics processes + Assists with the implementation of new programs as appropriate or requested + Shares learning and insights as a voice from the classroom ensuring alignment with business and brand priorities + Maintains updated training resources & knowledge in reference to Marriott’s training + Assists in any needed training activities and team buildings, as appropriate + Attends departmental & other meetings as required **Specific Candidate Profile** + BA/BS (or equivalent) preferred. + Based in Mexico (preferably Mexico City). Local package. **Experience** + Excellent platform delivery skills required + Minimum of 3 years experience in classroom and virtual training in English and Spanish. + Previous hotel operations experience preferred **Skills & Knowledge** REQUIRED: + Facilitation skills for a variety of mediums and audiences + Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, facilitation, presentation, written) (English and Spanish is a must; Portuguese optional) + Ability to coach others for performance improvement + Ability to manage multiple tasks/ projects + Experience/knowledge in technology-based delivery tools (i.e. computers, projectors, web conferencing) + Business knowledge (related to Marriott business functions, culture, systems, customer) + Business process knowledge (processes, quality measures) + Leadership (project/team leadership, business partnering, change management) PREFERRED: + Conducts compelling and engaging online learning events using virtual classroom technology + Facilitates highly interactive virtual training programs + Various analysis methods (such as job/task analysis, performance analysis, etc.) + Techniques to elicit content from subject matter experts + Research methods, including information scanning, data gathering, and analysis + Procedural documentation/ writing skills + Project management **Attributes** + Service orientation + Collaborative; team player + Builds relationships with ease + Problem solver + Creativity + Judgment + Results/goal orientation + Resiliency/adaptability + Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and change + Comfortable with technology + Agile learner **Travel** Travel requirements vary and could be up to 60%-80%. + Extensive time availability to travel with short notice _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
