Learning Manager (Finland, Poland & Baltics)

The SBU (Strategic Business Unit) Learning Manager will work with key business stakeholders in the region to fulfill learning requirements, deliver learning solutions and make recommendations to the Learning & Development (L&D) Centre of Expertise (CoE) for learning offerings that will have the greatest business impact in their region.

This role reports to the Global Head of Learning & Development and is also a member of the HR leadership team for FPB. The position is located in Helsinki, but we operate in a flexible hybrid model.

The key responsibilities in this role

• Consulting with regional business leaders and HR business partners to assess needs and deliver learning and development solutions aligned to SBU strategic business strategy including building critical / emerging technical skills (e.g. AI, data analytics, cyber security, agile, cloud etc.) and enhancing the consulting capabilities of the region.
• Managing one team member to deliver the SBU learning requirements and partners closely with colleagues in the L&D CoE to lead the delivery of best-in-class learning solutions.
• Articulating SBU business-related learning priorities and CGI Partner learning needs into an annual regional learning plan.
• Localizing global programs and solutions and leads the implementation of SBU-wide learning programs and delivers local initiatives to address needs of multiple business units across the SBU.
• Supporting the L&D CoE to identify, implement and oversee global learning technologies for CGI Partners to stay connected and drive their own development.
• Managing regional vendors and contracts, as required, and collaborating with vendors to develop learning experiences and solutions that build CGI Partner capabilities.
• Tracking and reporting trend analysis of CGI Partner learning activity and engagement with global / local initiatives to deliver a data driven strategy.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in learning approaches and shares these across the L&D CoE, and with CGI Partners and leaders.

What we hope from you

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of managing HR, ideally L&D function including portfolio, process and project management experience or equivalent transferable experience in a matrix, global / international organization.
• Experience of supporting organizations to drive results through their people and has a passion for improving business performance through the deployment of effective learning and development solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple projects and able to report on progress and achievements.
• Understands adult education best practices and learning facilitation, developing innovative blended learning solutions, curriculum design skills using instructional design methodologies and technology and measuring the efficiency / effectiveness of learning solutions.
• Experienced in performance consulting skills, able to translate business priorities into actionable learning strategy.
• Understanding of modern technology, tools, and methods to drive organizational learning using a data driven strategy.
• Able to build relationships with and influence all levels of the organization including business leaders, HR / Learning colleagues, and external partners.
• Able to provide direction and coaching to direct reports.
• Demonstrates curiosity and is a life-long learner.
• Fluency in English (e.g. B2/C1 minimum) is a requirement as you will be part of a global CoE.
• Post-graduate education in business, Human Resources, Adult Learning, Organization Development or equivalent is an asset.
