Learning Programs Manager
Overview Responsible for effective planning, development, implementation, facilitation and assessment of learning and professional development programs. Supervises Learning Programs team and provides oversight to customized learning, team building and partnering programs. This is an onsite position, located in office in Fargo, ND. Ability to travel up to 25% to facilitate trainings, developmental opportunities, or support leaders when needed. Responsibilities Provide leadership and work direction to Learning Program team including assessing priority, assigning facilitation and planning events as needed Provide vision and leadership for monthly professional development series including assessing needs, selecting topics, developing curriculum, marketing opportunities, coaching Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and/or facilitators, and assessing effectiveness Serve as facilitator for live and web-based training and workshops, including monthly professional development series and other learning and leadership development programs as needed Provide consultation and facilitation for customized learning, partnering and/or teambuilding workshops for internal stakeholders Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and/or external program providers to select, design, develop, customize, and deliver or schedule appropriate technical and non-technical learning and performance improvement initiatives Develop and assess training plans and curriculum for onboarding new employees, including individual contributors, supervisors, and managers Act as a liaison and develops relationships with vendors and/or external organizations and consultants to identify, research and recommend additional learning and development resources, courses and/or instructors Coordinate Client Partnering services for project teams, including facilitation and/or assignment of internal or external resources for event Ensure maintenance of all documentation and resources for the learning programs including databases, course materials, intranet content and evaluations Conduct follow-up assessment of all development programs to evaluate and measure results; modifies programs based on feedback Provide feedback, coaching and programming related to personality/leadership assessments including but not limited to DiSC and Hogan Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in training and development, education, career development, business, or other related degree. 5+ years relevant work experience in a combination of the following is required: Experience designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating leadership, soft-skills and professional development programs, Experience with delivery and coaching of Personality/Leadership Assessments. Certification in delivery and coaching of DiSC, Strengths Finder, Arbinger/Mindset and/or Hogan Certification is desired or ability to complete after starting. Prior supervisory experience is required.
