Short Description
The Learning & Quality Specialist II work collaboratively with the IT Revenue Cycle training team to ensure Epic Cadence training is available to all new hire employees requiring registration and scheduling access (intradepartmentally and interdepartmentally). The L&Q Specialist II will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of varied learner materials for frontline new hire (Epic Training and Operational Training). This includes Epic Cadence Registration and Scheduling training. In addition, the L&Q Specialist will conduct observations of users in their environment to identify areas for improvement and suggestions for workflow redesign.
The L&Q Specialist II is also responsible for refresher, informational or career development purposes. He or she will be responsible for call quality initiatives and facilitate calibration sessions in support of leadership.
Experience Required
3 years experience in teaching/operational training, or 1 to 2 years as an Epic Super User
Education Requirements
Bachelors preferred in Education or Healthcare
License/Certification Requirements
Cooper Epic Credentialing required
Special Requirements
Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
