Job DescriptionThe salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000
We are looking for a Learning Solutions Director to support the Jellyfish Training team. The role is best viewed as a hybrid that straddles across a more traditional sales/growth role and learning / curriculum designer.
As a Learning Solutions Director you will be focused on the acquisition of new and growth of existing customers. This will be achieved through supporting the development of learning programs that address the skills gaps within their organization.
You will have at least a basic understanding of digital marketing & technology. Understanding the fundamentals of cloud technology (preferably Google Cloud) and its applications will be important. You should be comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously and being able to quickly learn new processes is essential. This is a large, complex role, with multiple key stakeholders, so organisation and attention to detail will be key to success.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responds to inbound opportunities from customers, helping to propose the best training products to their requirements.Develops existing partnerships with tech platforms and seeks out opportunities for new ones.Joins customer calls and in-person meetings to help ensure learning programs are always front of mind and the learning design is matched to customer needs.Ensures regular connection with key stakeholders and customers, even when there might not be an immediate requirement.Listen to customer needs and lead the design of the appropriate learning journeys. You will frequently attend customer calls to help scope requirements and align training needs to both existing and new training content.Ensure that learning initiatives align with business objectives and drive overall performance improvement.Look for ways to advocate continuous learning within the organizations we work with, ensuring that employees are always improving their skills, staying current with industry trends, and growing professionally. As such you will build strong relationships and look to re-engage with customers on an ongoing basis.Prospecting and creating your own pipeline.Takes ownership for sales metrics and can demonstrate improvements through own actions (close rates, revenue per transaction, etc.)Has a clear and measurable plan for outbound sales activity / can demonstrate positive ROI.Develops key relationships and grows revenues from strategic partners.Acts as an internal advocate and has a strong plan to develop awareness and sales of training products within the wider agency business.Attends relevant industry events.Helps ideate ideas for marketing and customer acquisition.QualificationsYou will need to be an excellent networker and relationship manager. Any previous experience working in the L&D sector.Existing knowledge of products & services such as Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, Generative AI.
