Learning Solutions Specialist

The Learning Solutions Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and success through tailored learning and certification experiences. As part of the customer education team and in partnership with CSMs and other account team members, this role will ensure that learning is seamlessly integrated into the customer journey—from onboarding to maturity.

Equal parts strategic advisor, program builder, and operational coordinator, the Learning Solutions Specialist will directly engage with customers to provide learning needs assessments, customer training plans, and data-driven progress tracking to ensure that learning powers successful outcomes. This a new role at Atlassian. As our first Learning Solutions Specialist you will have an opportunity to help shape the future direction of our customer education programs.

Needs Analysis: Conducting needs assessments to understand customers' learning goals, skill gaps, and business challenges. This often involves interviews, surveys, observation, and analysis of product usage data.

Training Plan Development: Based on the needs analysis, they create customized learning success plans for individual customers or groups. These plans outline learning objectives, recommend relevant resources (courses, workshops, documentation), and establish a timeline for completion.

Learning Journey Facilitation: Guiding customers through their learning journey, providing support, motivation, and answering questions.

Coordinating learning activities: Managing the planning and execution of live learning and certification activities. This will require working closely with content developers, account team members, and facilitators.

Learning Maturity Development: Supporting a culture of continuous learning within customers' organizations. This can include analyzing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies for learning adoption.

Content Collaboration: In some cases, learning specialists collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and authorized training to create targeted training materials based on customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a background in training facilitation, needs analysis, and performance consulting. They thrive in a customer-facing role, have excellent organizational skills, and are adept at motivating and supporting diverse stakeholders in achieving their learning goals.

Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment or a similar customer-centric, technology-driven industry.

3+ years experience in customer-facing roles such as customer education, scaled customer success, or a related field

Familiarity with adult learning principles and methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in conducting needs assessments and creating tailored learning plans.

Demonstrated program management excellence including ideation, planning, scheduling, resource management, and reporting

Experience building high-value relationships with cross-functional teams and/or partner organizations, delivering impact consistently, and influencing stakeholders in a matrix organization

Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills

Bonus points if you are already experienced working with the Atlassian ecosystem

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $85,500 - $114,000

Zone B: $77,000 - $102,600

Zone C: $71,000 - $94,600

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
