Lease Analyst
Lease Analyst | Tampa, FL Job Description As a Lease Analyst, you will assist with creating and performing abstracts for all new leases and amendments, input cash receipts, and perform invoicing related to properties. You will interpret leases and lease language, enter this information into the system, and handle reporting. Additionally, you will set up and maintain pass-through worksheets for Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and Real Estate Taxes, review leases and abstractions, and work with Property Managers to research and evaluate outstanding issues related to tenant accounts. Maintaining data in databases, performing invoice reviews, and interacting with landlords to create standard forms and policies are also key aspects of this role. Responsibilities + Assist Lease Analyst with creating and performing abstracts for all new leases and amendments + Pull and provide documents for abstract packages + Input cash receipts in property management software and perform invoicing relating to properties + Enter lease information into property management software + Interpret leases and lease language, enter into the system, and handle reporting + Set up and maintain pass-through worksheets for Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and Real Estate Taxes + Review leases and abstractions + Work with Property Managers to research and evaluate outstanding issues related to tenant accounts, including expenses and budget analysis + Maintain data in databases for lease abstracts and property data while providing quality assurance + Perform invoice reviews and ensure they align with tenant obligations to remit payment + Interact with landlords and create standard forms and policies and procedures Essential Skills + 1-3 years of commercial real estate/property leasing experience + Experience with commercial leases, abstracts, and amendments + Proficiency in property management software + Strong understanding of lease language and reporting + Ability to set up and maintain CAM and Real Estate Tax worksheets + Experience in accounts payable/receivable + Proficient in Excel for reconciliation and data entry + Ability to maintain data quality in databases Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with invoice review + Exposure to commercial real estate/property leasing + Willingness to train candidates with AP/AR/Billing experience who have exposure to commercial real estate/property Work Environment You will work in a hybrid model, with in-office days every other Tuesday and Wednesday (total of 4 days per month). While candidates from Tampa for the Temple Terrace office are preferred, there is also the option for candidates near the following offices: Alpharetta, GA; Irving, TX; and Basking Ridge Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $24.04/hr.
