Compensation: $22-25/hourLocation: Hobbs, NMAssignment Duration: 6 months+Work Schedule: 7/7 RotationBenefits:  Comprehensive insurance with 401(k) program, PTO & Holidays Responsibilities Interact with Well Analysts, Inject Well Controller/Pump Off Controller technicians, Reservoir Engineers to maximize injection capacityCollaborate daily to determine injection well exceptions and performs diagnostics to return wells to polymer injectionParticipate daily with IWA, IWC/POC, AT, Engineers concerning daily alarm exceptionsAddress all daily alarm exceptionsTroubleshoot injection exceptionsClear all "0" rates dailyCheck all wells with casing alertClean, repair, or replace metersCalibrate or replace transducersRepair or replace motor control valveRepair or replace motor controllerRepair or replace casing monitorsReplace batteries in RTU Qualifications At least High School Grad or GED. Some college or technical training preferredValid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving recordCoaches others in injection wellhead operations and recognized as advanced expert in technical area.  Experienced in waterflood and Tertiary/CO2 flood operations and managementStrong initiative and self-starter.  Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritizationWorking knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred, but will train acceptable candidateUnderstanding of importance of environmental and safe work practicesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervisionTechnical skills related to math and analytical processesProficiency in the use of personal computer utilizing a windows environmentAbility to keep neat and accurate recordsGeneral mechanical troubleshooting and repair skillsAbility to identify operational inefficienciesUnderstanding of Business fundamentalsPerforms routine and complex activities in injection wellhead operationsEnsures all safety precautions are taken while operating equipmentExplains how an Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) operates and executes emergency shutdown effectively, safeguarding personnel, equipment, pipeline and environment.
