Your role on our team: The Leasing Consultant serves to guide prospective residents through the rental process while providing best-in-class customer service.

In this role you will:

Responds to rental inquiries via various channels. Enters leads in CRM, ensuring accurate traffic data and reporting. Conducts comparison shops with competitors. Meets/exceeds monthly rental goals. Interviews prospective residents to determine needs and promote suitable Minto products. Tours prospects through properties, suites, and amenities. Invites and assists with online applications, overcoming objections. Verifies applicant suitability (credit/income checks). Collects rent deposits (varies by province). Optimizes occupancy. Ensures properties and vacant suites are “show ready.” Manages “walk-in” prospects, answers inquiries, and assesses needs. Greets clients at the rental office. Maintains knowledge of Minto products and communities. Collaborates with marketing and revenue management to optimize media use and trends. Encourages renewals from existing residents. Provides feedback on leasing incentives and rental rates. Adheres to applicable legislation (Health and Safety, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA, Human Rights). Performs other duties as requested.

We would like you to have:

High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education in a sales or marketing discipline would be considered an asset. A minimum of two (2) years of sales experience Rental Property Management License with BCFSA  Availability to work evenings and weekends Proficiency in Salesforce and Yardi is considered an Asset Valid Driver’s license and vehicle is preferred High energy with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
