What this opportunity involves:
We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join our dynamic and vibrant leasing team. Working closely with the Directors and senior staff across both our commercial office and retail portfolio, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying new opportunities and providing services to property owners, occupiers and other stakeholders.
But, the freedom and work flexibility in this position will also allow you to make the role your own and tune into your creative side. As you will also sit down with designers, architects and retailers on how to layout a shop or office, and with marketing coordinators preparing schedules and advertising. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and input into many parts of the process.
Snapshot of the role:
Assist the Director to prepare and present proposals to property owners and advisorsAppraising property owners and their advisors of current likely market conditions including lease rates, factors affecting the marketability of their property and other marketing initiatives and recommendationsHelping to prepare and execute marketing strategies and advertising schedules to assist vendors in maximising outcomes.Negotiate agency agreementsAttending internal and external meetings including property inspections with interested parties.Servicing listings through regular contact with property owners and their advisors including regular telephone calls, email contact, written reports and other means of communication to maintain the integrity and term of those agencies.Sound like you? To be successful, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills to enable interaction with various internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have the ability to work independently, multi-task and be very well organised as a high level of initiative is required on a day-to-day basis.
You may be a leasing executive or property professional wanting a new challenge, have relevant experience in property or even an architect with a knowledge of leasing. Some sort of experience in leasing will be highly regarded, but not essential.
A University degree in property, businesss, finance, law or similar will be highly regarded.
