JLL is hiring a Leasing Representative for our prestigious 44 Charles location. We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to play a crucial role in our residential leasing operations, where you'll be at the forefront of shaping our property's success. In this exciting position, you'll spearhead our leasing initiatives, crafting compelling sales strategies, and orchestrating innovative marketing campaigns. Your creative flair will shine as you manage our property's social media presence, ensuring we stay connected with our community. This role offers a perfect blend of professional growth and work-life balance, with onsite parking available for your convenience. Please note that some evening and weekend hours will be required to best serve our residents and prospective tenants.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

       Marketing and Leasing

Perform the overall leasing and resident relations function at the property, evaluating and monitoring metrics that include vacancy, sales, renewals, move in, move out, notice, rescinded notices, etc;Train, mentor and support part-time and/or support staff at the propertyWork with the Leasing & Resident Experience Manager, Marketing and Property Management teams to develop and implement sales and marketing plans.Market and show available suites to prospective residents and manage the presentation of application forms to Property Management for approval.Update advertising and media channels, promotional programs, and signage for the property.Maintain the customer database and ensure that all leads are responded to, and all traffic documented appropriately.Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of product, including availability of suite types and layouts, common areas and amenities of the building and value-added services provided, and act as a resource interdepartmentally as a subject matter expert on the property.Communicate and work with Property Management to ensure suites are delivered on time and as promised, and conduct move in inspections and orientation with residents.Assist in the monitoring of and content creation for the property’s social media channels and other web-based marketing initiatives, which may include blogging and drafting responses to posts from the public for approval.Maintain a working knowledge of competitive buildings and conduct quarterly market surveys of these properties.Provide feedback and recommendations on rental rates, promotions and overall market conditions with a view to maximizing revenue at the property.Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, including local businesses that may add value to the resident experience or result in increased traffic to the property.

       Resident Relations and Customer Experience

Organize resident engagement and retention events and activities at the property based on your target market, with a view to developing relationships with residents.Contribute to the property’s quarterly newsletter.

       Reporting and Administration

Report on vacancy, traffic, and other metrics on a weekly basis.Ensure timely and accurate completion and entry of all leasing documentation, including application forms, Tenancy Agreements, renewal agreements and other supporting documentation.

      Customer Service

Maintain good resident relations, address and document resident complaints and any emergencies in the building which occur during and outside of regular office hours.Further support efforts to ensure resident satisfaction and service delivery through prompt service, ongoing communication and follow up.

WHAT YOU BRING:

3+ years’ experience in residential property management, hospitality, seniors housing, real estate sales or marketing.  Post-secondary courses in Business or Real Estate Administration is considered an assetExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with prospects, residents, and internal staff.Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and proficiency with Yardi.A complete understanding of all applicable laws, legislation and rights concerning resident/landlord relations.
