The Oracle Leave and Disability Program Manager will be responsible for leading the Oracle US Benefits Leave and Disability team, while also overseeing Oracle leave and disability and reasonable accommodation programs, policies and managing Oracle’s leave and disability vendor relationship. 

In this capacity, the Leave and Disability Manager will:

Have experience managing leaves and disability programs for large employee populations (50,000 or greater), preferably in the high-tech industry; Provide subject-matter expertise related to all forms of leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations and compliance;  Lead the internal leave and disability team, as well as maintain overall responsibility for the relationship with Oracle’s third party leave and disability vendor;  Be responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to federal, state and local laws, including, but not limited to, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, DOL and IRS regulations; Have extensive knowledge and experience working with California VDI plans; Lead assessment and implementation of new programs, vendor RFPs and contract negotiations related to leaves of absence;  Regularly and strategically review processes and policies with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement;  Ensure that the overall management of the leave and disability plan aligns with business objectives, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the employee experience; Collaborate with payroll on a variety of matters, including reconciliation issues and administration of the California VDI plan; Have a thorough understanding of the interactive process and reasonable accommodations;  Engage with HR, Legal and management teams on complex leave and reasonable accommodation issues; Manage and provide continuous professional development to Oracle leave and disability team;  Have excellent relationship building and collaboration skills necessary for leading and working with internal and external stakeholders; Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and carriers as needed;  Demonstrate good judgment at all times with respect to data privacy and security and confidentially manage sensitive information; and Perform other duties as assigned.
