Job Description SummaryProvides direct case management, consultation administration of leaves and support for US colleagues. Leave types include but are not limited to, regulated FML, regulated state medical and family leaves, paid parental leave.

Roles and Responsibilities

Deliver compliance with GEHC HR policies. Federal and state regulations regarding disability including but not limited to ADAAA, workers compensation requirements and state reporting requirements.Deliver compliance with GEHC, state and federal privacy requirements around personal health information.Proactive management of leaves to deliver a safe and timely return to productive work through workplace adaptation or smooth transition to LTD.Enhance individual and organizational capability and productivity by enabling colleagues for optimal performance when impacted by disability or the need for medical/family leave.Deliver effective case management and accurate benefit allocation determinations. Document all substantive interactions and decisions, including approvals, suspensions/denials of FML, std, state and other leave of absence in an electronic medical record systemProactive communications and return to work planning with broad range of internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to colleagues line managers, HR, GEHC legal, business leaders and healthcare providers.Responsible for managing the legally required interactive process for ADAAA compliance for all disability associated LOAsAssist colleagues on leave with filing claims for work related illness and injury with insurance carrier and coordinate effectively with claims managers to ensure mutual understanding of claim status among the colleague, insurance carrier and GEHC management.GEHC SME expertise on policies related to disability.Use EMR and case management systems to approve and modify HR information systems to ensure accurate and timely pay/benefit.

Required Qualifications

5 years experience administering or managing benefit programs such as company provided disability of family medical leave.

Desired Characteristics

Certification such as CPDM, CLMS are preferredStrong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $89,600.00-$134,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
