Credence Management Solutions, LLC. (Credence) is seeking a Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA Specialist with expertise in employee relations and business strategy for a full time position based out of our McLean,VA.  The LOA and ADA Specialist is responsible for administration of all leave of absence inquiries (FMLA, STD, LTD, Parental, Military, etc) as well as Worker’s Compensation/DBA and all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodation requests. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated prior history of LOA and ADA administration. The LOA and ADA Specialist must be well-organized and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will be someone who is organized, with an acute attention detail, and is able to operate independently with little oversight. A strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are critical for success in this role.

The LOA and ADA Specialist leads and administers all leave of absence programs including but not limited to; Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), parental leave, medical, disability, military, and other leaves of absence as well as Worker’s Compensation/DBA and all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodation requests.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external laws and regulations, including state-specific considerations.Serve as a trusted resource for employees, managers, and internal teams by providing guidance and clarity on leave of absence procedures and ADA accommodations.Collaborates with Payroll team to ensure accuracy of missed premiums due to LOAs.Maintains accurate records and reports as necessary.Continually stay abreast of new regulations and best practices, and recommends revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulation.Engage in proactive case management and conduct interactive discussions for ADA accommodation requests, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for employees.Analyze and report on trends and data related to leaves of absence and accommodations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced employee support.Handle other duties as needed, requested, or assigned to support the HR department and company initiatives. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required.5+ years HR experience.3+ years of leave and disability accommodation experience. Comprehensive understanding of FMLA and ADA legislation and employer best practices.Prior experience with multi-state LOA administration.Customer service orientation.Enthusiastic and engaged personality.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to remain confidential and handle sensitive data.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work on a computer for an extended period of time.
