The LOA Process Lead oversees end-to-end Leave of Absence (LOA) processes, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional client service delivery. This role combines subject matter expertise, process optimization, and client relationship management to enhance LOA operations and meet client needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily LOA operations, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, state-specific regulations, and client policies.Develop, maintain, and update workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and LOA Tool documentation to align with regulatory and client requirements.Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance service delivery.Serve as the primary client contact for LOA processes, addressing inquiries, resolving escalations, and identifying enhancement opportunities.Lead client governance calls to review performance, address concerns, and discuss strategic improvements.Collaborate with the LOA IT team to identify, prioritize, and resolve system defects and implement enhancements.Track and manage tickets in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and communication of updates to stakeholders.Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external audit requirements.Conduct audits of SOPs and workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.Identify and resolve process gaps, system issues, and service delivery challenges in collaboration with internal teams.Provide training and mentorship to colleagues on LOA operations and best practices.Lead client onboarding for LOA services, including requirements gathering, implementation, and acceptance testing.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate LOA processes into broader HRBPO service offerings.Track and analyze trends to identify improvement opportunities.Work with IT on sQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).5+ years of experience in LOA operations or HR shared services.Strong knowledge of U.S. LOA laws, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulations.Proficient in HRIS platforms, LOA tracking tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Excellent communication and client relationship skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Benefits
