Job Summary The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer Title Series (tenure-ineligible) Lecturer. This position is a 9-month appointment with an anticipated Distribution of Effort of about 90% Teaching and Advising, and 10% Service/Professional Development which will be reviewed annually. We anticipate a start date of January 1, 2025 but not later than March 1, 2025.

This position, onsite and based in Lexington, KY, will assist and resource the Undergraduate BSN program within the College of Nursing. This position requires an individual to provide teaching, advising, and mentoring of undergraduate students enrolled in the BSN program. Candidate will implement and evaluate the assigned didactic and clinical courses in the College’s undergraduate program. They will plan and evaluate student clinical experiences and sites, and guide BSN students. Additionally, the candidate will provide clinical services as an undergraduate clinical instructor as delineated. The required education and experience include an earned Master’s Degree in nursing. DNP or PhD in nursing preferred. Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Clinical experience in one or more of the areas of health promotion, pediatrics, public health, physical assessment, synthesis, professional role or pharmacology required.
