Lecturer Doc Sch (Multiple Positions) Silberman School of Social Work **FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT** The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College-CUNY invites applicants for Doctoral Lecturer positions. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the BSW and MSW programs. The Silberman School of Social Work (formerly Hunter College School of Social Work) has a national reputation as a leader in public urban education. Established in 1956, the School's mission is to prepare highly competent social work leaders to work in a variety of professional roles, settings, and communities in New York and other national urban centers to improve the lives of vulnerable and stigmatized people and the communities in which they live. The School is located in a state-of-the-art building in the historic and vibrant New York City neighborhood of East Harlem. Our curriculum, scholarship, and agency partnerships reflect a deep commitment to recruiting and educating a diverse student body and to innovations in social policy, practice, and research that value cultural complexity and social justice. The School has 40 full-time faculty and approximately 1,400 MSW and BSW students.
