Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job Directing, arranging, and teaching the Bearkat Marching Band Drumline. Teaching applied lessons; directing the University Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band II, and teaching a course in percussion methods for music education students. In addition, the position has a service component of up to 0.50 FTE reassigned time for the creation of music performance programs. Educational Requirements for the Position Master in Music required, DMA preferred. Experience Required for the Position All applicants will be considered, but particular interest will be given to those with a successful record of teaching at the university level. Experience with concert program creation/formatting and/or InDesign would be preferred. Other Requirements for the Position The applicant must work collegially and be committed to undergraduate education.
