Lecturer Positions in the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability

The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for part-time lecturer positions in areas of environmental science/studies and sustainability for the 2024-2025 academic year. These areas include: environmental science, sustainability, environmental economics, and related topics.

Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams, and supervising graduate readers and/or teaching assistants.

An advanced graduate degree in environmental science/studies, sustainability, or a closely related field, college-level teaching experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability is building a qualified pool of potential instructors for specific teaching needs. Positions will be filled when needed so applicants are encouraged to submit materials early.
