Plan facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspect construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. Generate LEED Concept for FAB and Associated Buildings. Coordinate with General Contractors, and Subcontractors in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Coordinate internally on LEED score decision making. Supervision for LEED requirement execution during and/or after construction, including Construction waste and IAQ. Assist U.S. local site BIM teams, in BIM implementation for their projects. Be the point of contact for BIM related matters at the local sites. Work with General Contractors, and Subcontractors to guide partners in BIM execution to Micron requirements including BIM implementation and modeling, BIM walkthrough, BIM clash detection, as-built and laser scanning. Review standards related to BIM such as BIM Execution Plan. Position requires U.S. domestic travel.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an Architectural or Structural Engineering-related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Building Information Modeling (BIM);

2. Large Project greenfield design/construction experience;

3. Improvement of LEED certification for future/existing buildings;

4. Working with LEED Certification Institutions, including USGBC or consultants working with USGBC;

5. LEED certification or other LEED accreditation.
