Responsibilities:
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information as needed.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic legal files and records.
Manage attorneys' schedules, including coordinating meetings, hearings, and depositions.
File legal documents with courts or relevant agencies and monitor deadlines.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to obtain or relay information.
Process and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
Handle billing, invoicing, and time tracking for legal services provided.
Assist in preparing for trials, mediations, and hearings by organizing evidence, exhibits, and case files.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all legal documents and communications.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
Certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal document management software.
Experience in a specialized area of law, such as litigation, corporate, or real estate
